God is not some finger-shaking Jedi master who controls His weak-minded Christian sheep. While He absolutely knows what's best for us, He has given us the freedom of choice to obey or disobey Him. He's given us His Holy Spirit to guide us in making good choices so that "[His] kingdom come, [His] will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." Matthew 6:10.
"This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.' - Matthew 6:9-13
