Treasures in heaven
In Matthew 6 Jesus is talking about 'storing treasures in heaven and not on earth', which can seem a little abstract. But as we engage with the life of Jesus we realise that the economy of heaven is people. Everything else will be destroyed or left behind, but people will live on. So one challenge of following Jesus is to ask whether we are using our time, money, possessions and skills to build into the lives of people. Treasures that will last. Who is someone you can walk alongside today?
