God of many traits
God's character has multiple traits, but today's verses outline some key ones.
Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. - Psalm 103:2-5
He forgives all our sins and redeems our life from the pit. This unusual phrase means that God buys back our life from death - the punishment for sin. Jesus is our healer, our redeemer, and because of His sacrifice, we have new life! He crowns us with love and compassion.
