I Am Youth, Radio Pulpit, Radio Cape Pulpit and the North-West University’s Faculty of Economic and Management Science and its bhive Enterprise Development Centre have banding together to host a ‘Pitch Your Business!’ Competition.
We are proud to announce the winners after a very successful final event!
First Place:
Name: Mahlatse Mamaila
Business Idea: Bio-diesel from cooking-oil waste
Description: Watch this video. Mahlatse Mamaila’s business collects waste cooking oil and convert it into clean fuel for a running engine construction, farm, mining equipment, generators, fleets and airplanes.
Second Place:
Name: Bridget Mtetwa
Business Idea: eLearning hub; tutoring and mentoring of learners
Description: Bridget’s Learning Hub is an e-learning hub that provides tutoring and mentorship services to Primary and High school students across South Africa.
Third Place:
Name: Lithakazi Mkombe
Business Idea: Literary reading-publishing app
Description: We are an arts organisation that makes its primary proceeds from publishing books, this includes our brand of genuine cork leather journals that are eco-friendly.
