Unreciprocated love is nasty cruel. You pour your heart out to another but they don't hold or treasure it. They just let it splish out in the dirt - and you're left with an empty heart.
The author of everything that's been created gave His whole self to you, poured out His whole heart for you. Such is the hugeness and intimacy of Jesus. You get to love him back with your whole life. That's worship.
Romans 12:1 says: "... offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship."
