Greetings, ladies (but really everyone who loves a good story)!
As we’ve closed out Women’s Month, it’s important to keep advocating for children
and women and keep the conversation going.
We see devastating statistics in the news and on social media when it
comes to the life of a woman and that of a child in South Africa and in
the world. It is heart-wrenching, it is frightening, and it further points to
how much we need God, daily.
So, perhaps this is the perfect time to spotlight some inspiring women
from the Bible who were total trailblazers, and maybe even a time to put
the call out there for the Esters and Deborahs of our generation. Some
may have been young but best believe, they rocked it hard.
Are you an Esther of our time?
Esther was a queen who could’ve stayed quiet but chose courage
instead. Young Esther risked her life to save her people, showing us how
bravery and faith can change history. Talk about standing on business!
Is the fierceness of Deborah your portion?
Deborah was a fierce judge and leader who wasn’t afraid to step up in a
male-dominated world. She led Israel to victory with wisdom and
strength. Leadership goals, right? She didn’t have to pretend to be
anything other than who she was made to be. She didn’t shrink herself
to fit a narrative, she showed up to the call every time.
Are you the herald of the latest lifechanging scoop?
Mary Magdalene was more than just a follower, she was the first to
witness and announce the resurrection of Jesus. Talk about being at the
forefront of the biggest news ever! She saw and followed through with
action using what she could. Your time isn’t up, age is not your limitation!
Anna the Prophetess was an older woman who dedicated her life to
prayer and worship, showing us that age doesn’t limit impact. Every
season has its power, and fighting battles in prayer is still a very effective
war strategy.
These women teach us that faith, courage, and purpose aren’t about
age — they’re about heart and intent.
With women’s month behind us, will you still rise to the call?
