‘Pitch Your Business’ Competition 2025!

I Am Youth, Radio Pulpit and the North-West University’s Faculty of Economic and Management Science and its bhive Enterprise Development Centre have banded together to host a ‘Pitch Your Business!’ Competition.

All entrants received vital business training online for free.

Total marketing exposure to the value of R1 million is up for grabs, with the winner receiving promotional exposure valued at R500 000 by I AM Youth and Radio Pulpit, as well as crucial in-depth mentorship by the University.

And the winner is…!

 

After an exciting evening at the Pitch Your Business! 2025 finals at NWU Vanderbijlpark, our winners have been selected!

 

Winner: Bandile Shoba — for his eco-conscious, purpose-built student accommodation near NWU Potchefstroom campus.

 

1st Runner-up: Penelope Pukwane — with purpose-designed swimwear for curvy and full-figured women.

 

3rd Place: Bronwin Henn — empowering mature women to market their businesses digitally through online workshops and practical guidance.

 

For the first time since the competition began in 2023, there was a tie — and our finalists had to pitch one last time to impress the judges!

 

We’re so proud of all six finalists and their innovative, business-minded ideas.
